Colorado and the Midwest!

After moving what was left of our worldly belongings to Katie's parents house in Montrose, CO. We spend a week visiting. The first thing we noticed was the dramatic difference between the moist northwest and the dry high desert of Colorado. Hello sunscreen!!!! Montrose gave us a home base to get organized and pack for the next seven months. With only a backpack and carry-on, each weighing 30-40 lbs (goal was 20 lbs.), we have everything we will need for the trip on our backs.

Katie will spend the next week traveling to Iowa with her mom and visiting family. Kenny is going to Indiana to spend some time with his family and friends. Kenny's sister and nephew will be coming up from Florida to spend time with everyone at the family lake house. Both agendas include special days. Katie will be attending her cousins wedding and Kenny's brother is celebrating a birthday. These will give us a chance to get together with extended family.



On June 28th Katie and Kenny will meet in Chicago to start our long awaited overseas portion of the trip!!!

ITINERARY

Many of you have asked for our itinerary for the upcoming months. Of course we are always open to and planning on some changes and modifications, additions and subtractions. But our current plans are as follows:

GREECE: September 13-September 26

TURKEY: September 26-October 11

NEPAL: October 11-October 31

THAILAND: October 31-November 30

LAOS: November 30-December 15

CAMBODIA: December 15-January 1

VIETNAM: January 1-January 31

WHEREVER THE PATH MAY LEAD: January 31-????????
