We have officially moved out of our house! My parents, aka, Caufield (Kalamacha) Moving and Storage came this past weekend to help us pack and to take our belongings to Montrose where they will accumulate dust for the next 7, 8, ?.....months. It was fantastic to have them here to help and definitely decreased the drudgery of moving and cleaning. Now, we have turned in the keys, forwarded our mail, and are currently living in what Kenny and I have termed the Enumclaw B&B. My co-worker and running buddy, Helen, and her lovely family are in Europe this month and have graciously allowed us to stay in their beautiful home while they are gone. I love how quiet and peaceful it is in Enumclaw. It is a great place to reflect on the start of our new adventure.
Now that the time is finally here to start our travels it is sad to think about leaving Seattle and all our great friends here. Although we are embarking on an amazing journey, the beginning of our travels also means the end of our time in Seattle. We have really enjoyed living here, making new friends, and exploring the marvels and uniqueness of the great northwest. I feel nostalgic about leaving this all behind, even as I am thrilled about going off to foreign lands. Perhaps our path will bring us back to Seattle someday. But first....off to see the world.

Oh, I've heard that the Kalamacha Moving and Storage Company is a great "full-service" business. Can I get their number because I'm planning a BIG move in 2 to 3 years and I want to do a little advanced planning.
Let the journey begin. I am so excited for you and I am so thankful that you are ready to share with all of us. I miss you Katie!!!
